United Arab Emirates (Arabic: الإمارات العربية المتحدة Al-Imārāt al-'Arabiya al-Muttahida), or just Arab Emirates or UAE
Location: sovereign country or federation Middle East, located on the Arabian Peninsula, whose form of government is federal constitutional monarchy. Its territory is composed of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain. Southeast borders Oman and Saudi Arabia to the west and south.
Currency: The United Arab Emirates dirham (AED) which is divided into 100 fils. International credit cards are accepted everywhere, ATM cash dispensers are very numerous.

Abu Dhabi has strived to become an art center of international level, by creating a culture district on Saadiyat Island. For the island six major projects are planned: the Sheikh Zayed National Museum designed by Foster and Partners, the modern art museum Guggenheim Abu Dhabi to be built by Frank Gehry, the classical museum Louvre Abu Dhabi by Jean Nouvel, one maritime museum by Tadao Ando, a Performing Arts Center by Zaha Hadid, and Biennale Park with 16 pavilions.
Famous Caracters: The greatest literary luminaries UAE twentieth century, especially in relation to classical Arabic poetry, were Mubarak Al Oqaili (1880-1954), Salem bin Ali al Owais (1887-1959) and Ahmed bin Sulayem (1905 -1976 ) and later three poets from Sharjah, known as the Hirah group: Musabah Khalfan (1923-1946), Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi (1925-1993), former ruler of Sharjah, and Sultan bin Ali Al Owais (1925-2000) .
